Building bike and started testing and licensing for Pro Stock Motorcycle competition. Became on of a handful of women in the world to earn a Pro Stock Motorcycle License to compete at a national level.

Sonoma: Team starts season with Dawn on the the line helping team mate Chris MacLaurin during teams first race of the year. Career best e.t.and m.p.h. for Chris on his 1st ever pro start.
Las Vegas National: Dawn back on bike after recup from test session mishap. Did not qualify but happy just to riding again. Chris misses the bump also.
Pomona: Dawn breaks motor in first qualifier her season is over.Chris is closer to the bump this time but does not get into the field.
Live and learn and spend more money!D!!!!

Dawn has a background in the Motor Sports industry for over 11 years. She has worked and trained with the leader in the industry Harley Davidson. She attended Harley Davidson University and held managers positions in both marketing and sales.
Her passion for the sport of Drag Racing led her into the ownership of a race oriented business in 2003. She has been operating So Cal Custom Cycles in San Diego, CA, and has been successfully pursuing her ProStock motorcycle career. |

John plays an important role with So Cal Racing. He helps develop its powerful race engines and is serving as a mentor to rider Dawn. John is an experienced racer and has won several championships in the MDRA and NHRA Summit Series Top Gas Motorcycle Division. In addition to oversight of race day operations, crew personnel and public relations, John job to make sure the bike is ready at the starting line. He brings a potent combination of talents to the team.

Chris is responsible for vehicle systems engineering and development, data acquisition, design and application, and management of the engineering program. Chris has a deep technical background that translates to speed at the racetrack. He has 21 years of processes and equipment engineering. He carries a BS in mechanical engineering.
Chris himself is the only rookie sportsman racer to win AMA ProStar National Championship. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the task of going fast and winning races. |
